Mike Ivey – Associate Principal and Grade 3/4 Teacher

Hi, I’m Mike Ivey and I teach grade 3/4 here at Dunstable, while also being the Associate Principal. This is my 12th year of teaching, but my first year in Dunstable, after spending time at Busby School, Westlock Elementary, and Pembina North Community School. I really enjoy working with kids and I have done a lot of teaching and coaching in my life. Sports, and being active, are huge passions for me. I play competitive ice hockey, and ball hockey, whenever I can and really enjoy watching all sports- Oilers hockey, Blue Jays baseball, etc. I also love spending time with my wife at our home in Legal or going out to my family farm not far from Westlock. I am so excited to bring my passion, and experience, to Dunstable School!
