September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

Schools, within Pembina Hills, are closed on this day to mark the importance of recognizing survivors and those lost in residential schools. Our school will be holding discussions and activities throughout the week to mark this day.
