School Council

SCHOOL COUNCIL EXECUTIVE

The School Council and Society executive has had and will be having some changes. Effective January, the fundraising Co-Ordinator Marsha Behan has resigned from her position. Also, Chairperson, Edith McMann has submitted her resignation effective the end of the school year. However, if you have any quetions, concerns, ideas or comments you can direct them to any of the following current executive members: Chairperson: Kylan MacKey; Treasurer - Kathy Sloan. Secretary - Patricia Jinks. Alternatively, you can contact the school directly.

COUNCIL OF SCHOOL COUNCILS

Our small group has submitted 1 resolution to be put forth at the Annual General Meeting at Alberta School Councils Association: Special Education Funding. We will be presenting our resolution in April and hope that it will be passed and then presented to Alberta Education with the other resolutions passed. If you would like to see where this group is headed in addressing education concerns to the Province, stop in at our school council meetings to get the updates and provide your input.

Dunstable School Yearbook

Please note that there has been no committee available to work on the last couple Yearbooks. A committee is needed for the upcoming Yearbook to put it together or reasech other options. If you would like to see students receive a yearbook, consider forming/joining a committee. Please contact the school if you are interested.
